MRI Scanner questions, answered
Is a refurbished MRI reliable over the long term?
Yes. Superconducting magnets are extremely durable; most faults occur in electronics and cooling, which are inspected, serviced or replaced during refurbishment. With a structured AMC, a refurbished 1.5T system routinely runs for 8–12 years.
What site preparation is required?
You will need an RF-shielded room, chiller, dedicated power, quench pipe routing and adequate access for magnet delivery. We provide a full site-readiness plan and coordinate with your civil contractor.
Do you supply the coils and the workstation?
Yes. Coil packages and post-processing workstations are quoted as part of the system so there are no surprise additions after installation.
