How many slices does my hospital actually need?
For general radiology and emergency work a 16 or 32 slice CT is usually sufficient. Cardiac, stroke and advanced vascular programmes benefit from 64 to 128 slice systems. We size the configuration around your daily volumes and referral mix before recommending anything.
How is the X-ray tube condition verified?
Tube exposure history and scan-second counters are recorded during inspection, and the readings are shared with you in writing before purchase. Where required, the tube is replaced during refurbishment.
Do you assist with AERB approval for a CT installation?
Yes. We support site layout, shielding calculations and the documentation required for AERB registration and licensing of your CT room.
