What infrastructure does a PET-CT need?

A shielded scan room, hot lab with fume hood and dose calibrator, uptake rooms, radioactive waste storage and dedicated power with UPS. We provide the layout requirements early so civil work runs in parallel with procurement.

How do you assure detector performance?

Detector uniformity, energy resolution and sensitivity are tested with phantoms during refurbishment and again after installation, and the reports are handed over to your physicist.
